The annual Anoka-Ramsey Jazz Festival is a non-competitive, positive and learning-based jazz festival for young jazz ensembles and outstanding performers held at Anoka-Ramsey Community College The 2020 event was a success with local middle and high school participation and featured one of the most exciting new jazz groups to hit the Twin Cities, the Inatnas Orchestra. This group is led by, and features the music of Asuka Kakitani and JC Sanford. 

All aspects of the festival are FREE to participating schools!

•   10:00am-1:00pm - school performances with clinics (Morning Session)
•    11:00am-12:00pm - Improvisation and Jazz Styles Clinic
•    3:00pm-6:00pm - school performances with clinics (Afternoon Session)
•    4:00pm-5:00pm
              -Directors workshop with JC and Asuka
              -Trumpet, trombone, saxophone and rhythm section clinics with ARCC faculty
•    6:30 - Concert featuring the Inatnas Orchestra and the ARCC Faculty Jazz Ensemble
